Welcome to the Eastern Shore

Our balmy weather and wide-open spaces welcome;two-legged and four-legged visitors alike; but the latter are more apt to be tossed out a car window or left in a cardboard box on the side of the road. Yes, it's sad. People say, “Cats are survivors, they'll find a place to live.”

Yes, cats which survive this brutal treatment DO find places to live - in and around restaurants, dumpsters, and thousands of homes and workplaces where kind-hearted residents feed them. Unfortunately, their caregivers often lack the education and resources to properly care for the cats, including having them spayed and neutered.

Today Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore is home to thousands of outdoor cats, their offspring, and their offspring, and so on. An unspayed female can (and will) begin having kittens at 6 months of age - she will likely have two litters per year, with 4-6 kittens per litter.

Yikes!
That's where TOMCAT SOLUTIONS comes in, and we say,
