TWO MORE CATS DISCOVERED AT THE CORDOVA SITE

On 2/19 we set out the trail camera at the barn at the Cordova site and recorded two cats at the feeder.  Will set up trapping operations again tonight.  Hope to catch them using conventional traps as opposed to the drop trap.  Will keep all informed as to the outcome.

Second cat at the food dish

Trapped one successfully but as of 2:00 AM, the other is a no show.  Will continue trapping evenings until the second one is caught.

On another note, three outdoor cats which were rescued last year from the State Park site are still in need of a barn home. These cats need to be homed together as they have been companions to one another for some time.

Now it is time to get back to business at hand, TNR

This is one of our barn-cat setups. Two rescued cats will call this home for 4 weeks while they acclimate to their new surrounding.  Then, when released, they will not run away.   If you don't allow this time for acclimation, there is no telling where they might go.
